Truman O. Curry of Danville, Illinois, formerly of Covington, age 62, was pronounced dead on arrival at Lakeview Medical Center on Thursday, March 11. He was born at Greensburg, Kentucky, November 12, 1919, the son of Clifford and Mossie McKinley Curry. July 28, 1958, he married Ruth Smith Callahan, who died in February 1980. Curry was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired carpenter and roofer and was employed by Shutt Roofing Company of Danville for several years.
  Survivors include six sons, Truman Jr. of Ohio, Ronald, Michael, Gregory, Jeffery and Bruce, all of Danville, Illinois; his mother of Danville; two sisters, Catherine Beard of Greensburg, Kentucky, and Charlene Stephens of Danville; two brothers, Buford and Harvey, both of Danville; and 22 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Briggs King officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington.
